History and documentation

Tirath Khemlani (1920–1991): a biographical timeline

The London-based Pakistani commodity dealer at the centre of Australia’s 1975 Loans Affair, which contributed to the dismissal of the Whitlam government. A sourced timeline of his life assembled from contemporary press, archives and court records.

The Waltons building, Fortitude Valley

A documentation site for the derelict Waltons/Overell department-store building in Brisbane: heritage-register records, land titles, forty years of court files, and a timeline built from primary sources rather than press coverage.

Documents from the U.S. Espionage Den: OCR edition

The documents seized in the 1979 takeover of the US embassy in Tehran were republished by the students as the 73-volume Asnad-e Lane-ye Jasusi series. This is a searchable single-page OCR edition of the roughly 6,300 English-language source pages (16 MB), with a companion dramatis personae — 370 people indexed, with CIA cryptonyms decoded where possible. Source scans: Internet Archive.

An interactive 3D map built for the Newcastle Cycleways Movement. (Interactive WebGL page; loads its map libraries from a CDN.)
