Documents from the U.S. Espionage Den: OCR edition

The documents seized in the 1979 takeover of the US embassy in Tehran were republished by the students as the 73-volume Asnad-e Lane-ye Jasusi series. This is a searchable single-page OCR edition of the roughly 6,300 English-language source pages (16 MB), with a companion dramatis personae: 370 people indexed, with CIA cryptonyms decoded where possible. Newcastle’s cycling potential: 2016 vs 2021

An interactive 3D map built for the Newcastle Cycleways Movement. It reproduces the Institute for Sensible Transport’s Bicycle Use Propensity Index, the metric behind the City of Newcastle’s Cycling Plan 2021–2030, recovering the exact 2016 formula and refreshing it with 2021 census data for a like-for-like comparison.
